Our apartment is located in the old town of Mondsee in a quiet location, within walking distance to the bakery, cafés, stores, the picturesque market square is around the corner, the lake a few minutes' walk away. There is a bus station around the corner with buses to Salzburg and other surrounding towns. As Mondsee is located directly on the A1 highway, you can be in Salzburg in 20 minutes. Munich is a 90-minute drive away, Vienna is about two hours to the east and Italy about two hours to the south.

Experience the spectacular Salzkammergut region with the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hallstatt. Come for a swim in the crystal-clear Mondsee, sailing, stand-up paddling, foiling and kitesurfing. Mondsee is only about 30 minutes away from the Red Bull headquarters in Fuschl, so you'll find many sports enthusiasts among the more laid-back locals who like to just enjoy their coffee or wine or the world-class pastries and gelato that you won't find better in Italy.
